Insane 2 Minutes, Too Bad I Was Watching From The Couch & Didn't Go

So here's the final two minutes of the Rutgers/Nova game last night. That was probably one of the best finishes that I have ever, EVER, seen in a basketball game. I'm talking best finish ever whether it was pro, college, or Harlem Globe Trotters' action. I mean think about the fact that Rutgers was down 10 with two minutes left and Nova just has to hold onto the ball over and hit their free throws to seal this one up...but then this sequence of events happened. You have a missed free throw by the Scarlet Knights, a turn over on a ridiculous attempt at an outlet pass, and then a three to make it a 5 point game. OK, Nova just make sure you don't turn it over on the inbound pass and everything is fine...Well you turned it over, but as long as RU doesn't hit a 3 you're alright...Hmm it looks like they hit a 3 and have all the momentum going their way but you're the #10 team in the country, you'll hit free throws and walk out of here a winner. Let's skip ahead to a strong take by soon to be hero, Jonathan Mitchell, and a tip in that resulted from no one boxing out (2 Point Game). Nova then has a guy, who had only 22 points coming into the game, chuck up a 3 and somehow have it drop. Now Nova looks like they have this thing in the bag, 11.9 seconds left and they're holding onto a 5 point lead. I mean it looked that way until they forgot to turn around on D and stop ball. Another Rutgers 3? This all comes back to wait I said earlier, 1. hold onto the ball 2. hit free throws. Corey Fisher, who's shooting 79% from the line, misses the front end of his shots. Are you kidding me Fisher, why don't you just quit and go get a job with your drug lord uncle? No I'm serious his uncle was a HUGE drug trafficker. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Fisher. So he hits the second and makes it a 3 point game again and all they have to do is guard the 3ball and this one is over. Enter the aforementioned Jonathan Mitchell. The lefty rises up and bangs a game tying 3 in old 8ball's nephew's face AND gets fouled on the shot. FISHER WHY WOULD YOU FOUL A SHOOTER!? Whatever, Mitchell bangs the free throw and takes this one from the Wildcats. Way to snatch defeat out of the hands of victory Nova.

PS. I do NOT regret my decision to skip this game to watch my Blue Devils toy with the Tar Heels for a half only to start playing in the second and make them look foolish.

PPS. Check out the 41 second mark and watch Beatty loose all body control when he hits that 3. To quote Barney Stinson, "Legen-dary"
